About Me

Hi, I’m Clare and I am the civil celebrant behind Green Heart Ceremonies. I’m 40 (something) and live in Teesside with my husband, Derrick and our two beautiful Boxers, Duncan and Dixie.  Born and raised in the North East I love being outdoors and making the most of living in such a beautiful part of the country.  I am fun-loving and down to earth, a true romantic with a good sense of humour (well I think so, anyway). I enjoy live music and comedy, travelling, particularly to the Greek islands and I’m partial to a city break too.

Having spent 20 years in the funeral industry it has always been my passion to make significant moments uniquely special. I am a firm believer in making the most of every day and creating memories to treasure. Whether you are celebrating a life, a love or welcoming a new member into your family I can help you design the most personal, beautiful service. I will be beside you every step of the way to make sure you are fully involved in creating a ceremony that truly reflects the essence of you and your loved ones.
